I think when a person(s) has behaved a certain way for so long they no longer realize it's (to put it mildly) inappropriate.
It amazes me the reactions they have when you call them on it. 99.9989899393% it's indignation. Which for some stupid reason surprises me.
If a policer office pulls me over for speed and I damn well know I was speeding I have two choices;
1. Be a responsible acting adult, accept the consequences of my actions and move the fuck on.
OR
2. Become irate, even though I know I'm guilty, exacerbate the situation and make a ticket into a worse situation.
The choice is easy. People need to wake the hell up and realize there are consequences to their actions. We are no longer victims with no alternatives or resources. Like yesterday when the idiots were driving around with nooses hanging out of their trucks at the Jena 6 protest?
Huh? You have thousands or more already angry Black people and you want to fan the flame. Okay, I'll let you fan it. I'll let you fan it and I'm going to burn this motherfucker down. We didn’t start this situation but we are damn sure are going to end it.
I can't end this post by saying I am not a violent person because I think anyone backed into the corner one too many times can develop a propensity for violence. It's a human response.And I am a human being.
